Enhanced states of consciousness have been experienced by humans across all cultures throughout history. These are universally positive experiences for the experiencers and have inspired the development of all the great spiritual traditions. They are fundamental to the true human experience and set us apart from animals. However, in our current materialistic age, exploration of spirituality and heightened states of consciousness are actively discouraged, disparaged, ignored and often suppressed by the controlled media who promote a narrow materialistic view of life that treats humans as mere biological machines. Yet spirituality is fundamental to understanding the true meaning and purpose of life. 

Happiness is not the meaning of life - Alan Watts. Some of history's greatest philosophers have spent their entire lives writing about the meaning of life. Why are we here? Surely there must be a reason? Many people in western culture believe the meaning of life is to "be happy". Alan Watts has a brilliant way of eloquently challenging this notion. The War on Consciousness - Graham Hancock. What is death? Our materialist science reduces everything to matter, materialist science in the West says that we are just meat, we’re just our bodies. So when the brain is dead, that’s the end of consciousness, there is no life after death, there is no soul; we just rot and are gone. Actually, many honest scientists admit that consciousness is the greatest mystery of science and that we don’t know how it works. The brain is involved in it some way but we not sure how. It could be that the brain generates consciousness the way a generator makes electricity, if you hold to that paradigm, then of course you can’t believe in life after death, when the generator’s broken, consciousness is gone. But it’s equally possible that the relationship — and nothing in neuroscience rules it out – that the relationship is more like the relationship of the TV signal to the TV set, and in that case, when the TV set is broken, of course the TV signal continues. And this is the paradigm of all spiritual traditions, that we are immortal souls temporarily incarnated in these physical forms.  If we want to understand consciousness, the last people we should ask are materialist scientists. (9 mins)

HERD - A Spiritual Journey.  Animals and the natural world tune and raise our vibration, helping us to re-adjust our focus from the point (our ego) to the wave (the flow of all non-human life). It is humans who create the barriers, and it is our choice to dissolve them and awaken to the gifts of animals and all life. The movie 'Eyes Wide Shut' was intended by Stanley Kubrick to shed light on the darker, ritualistic side of the elite who run the world. However it was not the movie Kubrick intended audiences to see. The  studio demanded that 24 minutes be cut from the complete film before they would allow it be released. Kubrick refused and just a few days later, the legendary filmmaker was dead. The film was then released with 24 minutes cut. What was in those 24 minutes?
